Freedom Makers Virtual
Services - Objective

Freedom Maker Virtual Services is in a unique position to help eliminate underemployment and unemployment among military spouses nationally.

Making a platform appealing to administrators, Freedom Makers, and clients was the major goal. I conducted an audit of their present platform and offered design ideas using user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design to address all user needs and business challenges. Offering desktop and mobile designs for their three different user groups.

One of the most exhilarating aspects of creating a new product is being free to experiment and take chances.

Optimizing Flow and Improving Architecture

  • Prototyping with Different Fidelity

In order to create a user-friendly platform, we had to create user flow diagrams for every type of user. Where the user's progress across different activities is displayed.

Based on the user flow, I quickly put the concept down on paper and generated our Mid-Fi Wireframe. We later discussed it with the team and moved forward and created our component library.

  • Component Library

I designed a component library which has a positive impact on business goals, workflow, team and user happiness, and on shaping the brand experience for the customers and the employees.  It’s a framework of building blocks, based around centralized design decisions. This will always improve speed, quality, and consistency in the long run.

Make it distinctive.

From high-level features we tested and refined the design iteratively to achieve a final design that is easy-to-use and caters the needs of all our users. Delivering desktop and mobile designs.
